"And?" Elliana waited patiently to hear Vincenzo's response.

Vincenzo said a few words to tell her what was going on and Elliana's eyes brimmed with tears that she quickly blinked away.

"Now will you please let me go? This is damn humiliating," Vincenzo said, failing his body to free himself from the ropes in a more dramatic manner, hoping to improve Elliana's mood, but the girl just nodded and clicked her fingers, removing the golden ropes from around his body.

"Seriously, Elliana. There is a limit to everything. How could you -" Vincenzo couldn't complete his sentence as Elliana interrupted him.

"Nathaniel must be with him, right?" Elliana asked, and Vincenzo looked at the girl for a few seconds who was struggling with her emotions, probably trying her best to hide them, before nodding.

"Okay. You can leave," she said before turning around to hide her emotions from Vincenzo.
