Erika got into the car that was parked outside of the prison and the driver zoomed off. Looking down at Jake who had been quiet throughout the ride back home, she tapped him gently on the shoulder to gain his attention and he looked up at her with his big doe eyes.

"Did you enjoy visiting your father? Do you like him?" She asked him one question after the other. Even though he'd been mostly quiet without much reaction when Adrain hugged him, he didn't retaliate at all but she would still love to hear him say a few words.

"Is he really my father?" Jake asked and Erika nodded in response. "Then why is he in jail? Did he do something wrong?"

Erika looked ahead and she sighed before she replied. "Your father did some bad things so this is the way he is going to be serving his punishment."

"Will he ever come out?"
