halloween and the troll

today is halloween and there is the charms class today that is about levitation charm and Alex is constantly looking at Hermoine and observing Ron beside her.

he want to stop Hermione from advising Ron , so he decided sit beside her. but all Griffindor's sit on one side and Ravenclaw sit opposite to them.

so he decided to observe Hermione and prevent her from hiding in the toilet crying due to Ron's words. professor flitwick enthusiastically started the lesson by again saying about wand movements and castings , then he started explaining the spell and demonstrating the levitation charm.

Alex isn't particularly interested in earning points , but after flitwick turned his gaze, Alex waved his wand performed the spell , this earned Ravenclaw 5 points. at this moment there is an explosion and sure enough it is Seamus Finnigan. Alex looked at Hermione and found her advising Ron and Ron gets irritated due to this and told her to try the spell. Hermione also performed it and earned 5 points.

as the class ended Alex hurriedly followed Hermione in the crowd, but he was too late.

she heard Ron and dashed away bumping Harry. Alex followed her to the second floor and Hermione is crying sitting in a compartment.

Alex slowly went towards her compartment and Hermione shouted," go away". but Alex didn't go and stayed there in silence for a minute and said," Hermoine it's me Alex, I want to talk to you for a moment, please listen to me". hearing it's Alex she eased a bit before remembering Ron's words and started crying again Alex unlocked the door using alohomora and went towards Hermoine.

Hermione doesn't know want to do as Alex entered the compartment and standing so close to her. she forget about Ron's words and looked at Alex in surprise, suddenly Alex took her hand and tapped her hand as if to reassure and support her. Hermione mind went blank as it is her second time Alex is holding her hand then she remembered what happened in the library and turned completely, buy remembered Ron's words in the next second and also her jealousy towards Cho. her brain is a mess now Alex who is watching this hugged Hermione and patted her back.

Hermione is surprised by his actions and started crying on his chest. she complained," why everyone hates me when I am trying to tell them their mistakes and help them to correct those? why Alex? why?". Alex just hugged Hermoine tightly and said, " your intentions are right Hermione, it's just you don't know how to express them to people and get along with them."

it took 2 hours for Alex to calm down Hermione and she is now red like tomato since she is still hugging Alex and her head is buried on his chest. Alex also noticed this and

teased her by playing with her hair. Hermione lifted her head and looked at Alex shyly. at this moment she is so cute that Alex wanted to kiss her there but restrained himself.

he took Hermoine out of there and they went to library and discussed about spells and charms. Alex explained Hermione's doubts and they both chatted happily until the sky turned dark at this moment Alex remembered about the troll and want to go to the great hall to avoid the trouble and catch quirell, Hermoine also followed him and when they are going to great hall through second floor he saw the troll and he cursed himself , he can't avoid trouble anymore as the troll saw them and approaching towards them, Hermione trembled in fear and grabbed Alex hand.

Alex at this moment thought while looking at Hermoine that this is his moment to shine and he took out his wand cast a bombarda spell along with stupefy. the troll is knocked away by Alex and he used the oppungo jinx and levitation charm to lift the stick of the troll and to hit it on the head. the troll becomes unconscious and Alex planned to slip away when he watched McGonagall running towards them. he cursed himself for deciding play the hero since this will cause the lime light towards him again.

McGonagall approached Alex and stared at the troll, she asked Alex what happened and Alex told they are returning from the library when the troll showed up and his attack towards it. McGonagall is surprised by a freshman who enrolled in less than 2 weeks ago beating up a troll and gave Alex 20 points.

Hermione at this moment is not cling to Alex's arm and she want to go to the griffindors common room when Alex suggested getting some food from kitchen since it is not time the curfew yet and Hermione agreed.
