Everyone looked at Hera in disbelief. She not only forgot that Ivy hadn't known about her, but she didn't even try to apologize sincerely, even though she didn't have to. 

Ivy, who was momentarily blank, snapped back to her senses. She expected that if Hera snubbed her, she wouldn't be surprised. But not only did she say she missed her, but she also called her her best friend!

They hadn't even met, let alone become best friends.
