Dominic turned his head, and his eyes instantly fell on Heaven. Seeing the inscrutable look on her face, he reached for her hand and squeezed it. His touch brought her back to the current lapse, looking back at him with slightly elevated brows.
"Are you okay?" he asked with a tinge of worry. "You've been quiet this whole time. It makes me worried."
Heaven wore a short smile and nodded. "I'm just thinking about the kids."
"They will be fine," he reassured. "You left them with Mom and Dad; Miriam is with them. Miri likes her, so they'll be fine. Not to mention, Princess and Gray are there to protect them. I also asked Axel to look after the children's safety."
Dominic paused, smiling helplessly. "If there's a safer place right now, that would be in their place."
"I know that. I'm not worried about Miracle." Heaven exhaled deeply, lowering her eyes slightly. "I'm more worried about Basti."
