Losing his innocence overnight

Silas used to be just like any other kids his age. He wasn't as bright and mature as Dominic, but he was cheerful and innocently smart in his own ways. All he wanted was to play and see his mother smiling at all times. He loved spending time with his parents, just like how he thought would last for a lifetime. 

However, recently, their initially lovely home just seemed to be shrouded in darkness. He would often see his mother crying in the corner of her room and his father, Leon, hadn't been home. Leon used to spend time with his family, playing with Silas while his mother watched from under the huge parasol in their garden.
