No.
Oh, how many times was this word said tonight?
Some uttered it in denial and pain, but others, just like Manager Chu, used it for her defense.
"No! How many times do I have to tell you!?" Manager Chu growled inside the interrogation room. Since she was the prime suspect, they immediately took her to this place like some sort of criminal when she was given first aid.
"I didn't do it! It was Paula! You can check my phone!" Manager Chu yelled in exasperation, flexing her fingers at the handcuffs that were attached to the table. "She told me to go there! She's setting me up!"
"Miss Marisol Chu." The officer leaned back, keeping his cool despite the suspect's aggressiveness. "You do understand that this case just turned into a homicide, right?"
"What?" Manager Chu blanked. "But... Heaven was still alive!"
The detective arched his brows. "Still alive when you knocked her out?"
