"You? Marry? Your focus is on your education, so no. I won't marry you," Devin said firmly. Matilda's heart ached as tears streamed down her face.
"Then don't blame me for what's coming next," she said, her voice filled with tears. She stood up, about to run to the room, when Devin grabbed her arm and asked seriously,
"What are you talking about? What is coming?"
