Even though she didn't get to see his face, Lily was elated with the fact that Jack wanted to see her. Lily couldn't just accept it, Jack wanted to see her badly so he had to peep through a restaurant window where she was eating with her colleagues.

It sounds absurd but it was real, He wasn't the type to do something like that, and knowing it was because of her, made her happy yet unhappy.

She remembered the way he ran from the restaurant just to avoid her. She was calling but he kept on running, it was quite funny.

He wouldn't have gone through all those hurdles if only he would accept the feelings he had for her. She told him she was in love with him and the next morning, he moved on without letting her know. 

What a jerk! He is so stubborn and very mean, He deserves the embarrassment, she thought sadly.
