Surprise Inspection

When Zhou Chao arrived at the industrial park, there were only a few people around. After a brief look around, he headed straight to the research institute, preparing to have a discussion with Zhou Jilong about the situation and then meet with Lan Ling.

"Today is a good day, and everything I hoped for seems to be coming true!" Zhou Jilong walked briskly toward the office. He had a few drinks with Lan Ling last night, and their conversation lasted until almost midnight before they went to sleep.

As soon as he entered the office, Zhou Jilong saw someone sitting in his seat. He was about to call security when he heard a voice from behind, "Lao Zhou, you're here! The boss has been waiting for you!"

"The boss?" Zhou Jilong was momentarily stunned. The person speaking was Lin Wu. He turned around and saw his boss, Zhou Chao, sitting in his office chair.

"Boss, why did you come so early?" Zhou Jilong, who had just regained his composure, hurriedly approached.
