Going on a Mission

"Ha? You're leaving for another mission?"

Elijah was packing up the things he had to take with him when Damian returned and started protesting about how the academy head could not keep his promise. Three days had passed since Elijah had accepted the mission given by the academy. During that time, Elijah focused on gathering information with Sofia and said nothing about his new mission to Damian.

"How can the head of the academy still dare to send you on another mission after what we went through last time? It's not like the academy lacks people to send on a mission."

Damian continued to grumble but did not dare stop Elijah from preparing for his departure. Damian knew his limits. And Elijah, on the other hand, also had no intention of leaving under forced circumstances for another mission.

"I volunteered to participate in this mission. Precisely because of what we went through before, I feel that learning outside is better than in the academy."
