I tried to contact Gina after that two more times, but her cell was switched off. Thankfully, she sent a text prior with the location for the meetup, leaving me with not much of a choice.
If this woman was truly Kian's mother, there had to be a reason why she wanted to see me and not Kian. Of course, the thought that this might be a well planned out conspiracy did cross my mind, but despite that the raging curiosity I felt wouldn't die down.
Hence, I took my car keys and dashed off to the location…

"It's been a while." I couldn't help but think as my feet touched the concrete floors of the club's parking lot. All around me, I could pick up on the scent of alcohol, drugs and sex, setting the tone.
