The Man Who Killed Her Father

The heat Eva felt was as if someone was applying flame to the wound on her arm. Eva saw Brian hold tightly unto her and she became irritated, however, the pain in her arm was way more than her anger.

Brian helped Eva sit on the chair and then he sat on the chair next to her. His face was restless, something one would have thought was true feelings. Either of true feelings or not, Eva cared less. As long as he was her foe, she would forever hate him. As long as her hypothesis of him being her father's murderer wasn't proved wrong, she would hate him.

"How exactly are you feeling, Eva?"

Eva ignored him, assuming he was talking to the wall across them. Her eyes remained fixed on her plastered arm and she sighed. The burn on her arm would appear and then disappear but having it disappear didn't mean the pain she felt from the injury had disappeared too.
