129. Phase II

Even though Nisa came in and reported such a piece of important news, Thyra didn't move. After shooting her seeds three times, she was exhausted.

More importantly, being eaten when she was inside another one was a novel experience for Thyra.

Now, Thyra could somewhat understand why Triska cummed twice while taking Thyra's meat in her pussy. She sighed, mumbling, "No wonder she looked hungry for some cock."

"Did you say something, my lady?" Flavia asked as Thyra slowly climbed off her back.

When she looked back at her, Thyra bent down and kissed her on the lips, surprising Flavia.

"I will make it up for you," Thyra said with a smile.

"Huh!" Thyra's choice of words was a little surprising for Flavia, but she was quick to catch on to what Thyra meant by that. She blushed red like a lobster.

Thyra then turned towards the surprising MVP of the night. "You have an unexpectedly surprising side."

As Dali was trying to understand what she meant by that, Thyra ruffled her hair and climbed off the bed.

She put down the robe and left the room. Nisa took another look at the pair of naked women with satisfied expressions on their faces, sighed, and left the room.

Thyra soon reached the meeting room, where she met the general and commanders of the empire's army. This time, it was her commanders who were present.

"How many soldiers are there?"

"Two hundred." Even as Fanger said those words, his expression was also showing signs of disbelief. "Two pairs of outscouts had checked and found that it was true. There would have been no way for us to hear the news so quickly if it had not been for the carrier birds."

"How many days?" Although the number of the enemy army was a lot less than she had expected, she could think of a reason for that.

"Two days. However…" Fanger paused before adding, "They will be here by noon of the day after tomorrow if they continue without stopping."

Thyra looked at the widow, gazing into the distance. There was still about an hour or two before daybreak. The once bustling city now lies bare.

After showing the blood-cruddling cruelty, the threat of Thyra's name worked like a charm.

Soon, the city was empty. But there were a few stubborn ones. Thyra forcefully removed them from the city.

By noon today, there was not a single person left in the city except for her soldiers and her servants. However, she had no intention of defending the city until her last breath.

"That shouldn't be all." Thyra said, "The main army should be behind them."

"That might be the case. However, we have no way to confirm that right now." Fanger sighed, adding, "And if they continue to progress at this speed. They might reach us before the news about the main army could be relayed."

Thyra knew what Fanger was saying was true.

Although this world had magical instruments that could replicate the telephone, those things were very big and costly to manufacture. Most importantly, it would need mana stones or essence stones to be used.

Digen had such a facility. That was also why both the enemy and the kingdom were so infatuated with Digen. So Thyra had to use old methods she knew from her last world.

Among them, using a carrier bird was the most effective method. However, unlike humans, birds sleep through the night, which leads to needless delays in news coverage. Hence, Fanger's words were correct.

Thyra took a deep breath, saying, "We will do as we have planned."

Almost everyone present in the room sighed in unison. Nisa was the one to ask, "Do we really need to do that?"

"Yes, we do," Thyra said without hesitation.

"If we do as you have said, no one will be able to live in the city in the future." Eventually, after a brief pause, Nisa continued, "At least not for at least a few years, perhaps even tens."

"It doesn't matter. We need to survive now to think about the future."

"But…"

Thyra didn't let her continue and raised her hand to stop her from talking. "Procure enough food and water that won't slow us down, and get ready to leave the city. Destroy all four doors of the city. Don't just tear the doors off; thoroughly destroy them so they won't be able to build the doors in a day or two."

"Ondor, get the cavalry ready. Get them battle-ready and be ready to move out with a moment's notice." Thyra turned to Rika, adding, "Get the army ready to move out by the first daylight. Build some defenses and put up some resistance structures on the path before heading back to the main camp. No matter what, reach the main camp by tomorrow night."

"What about Digen?" Silda asked.

"What about them?"

"Shouldn't we inform them about the presence of the enemy?"

"No need." Thyra shook her head and said, "The refugees might have already reached Digen by now. They might already be aware of the situation here."

"What if they send messengers or scouts?"

"That depends on the personalities of the scouts. If they are clever and aware of their situation, keep them in captivity for a few days till we can take care of the enemy and let them go."

"What if…"

"Kill them." Thyra didn't even hesitate to answer. "This is war. I am willing to fight against a tough opponent, but I am not willing to get backstabbed by scheming allies. And what are you worried about? There is no way the ones in the Digen would know whether we or the enemies had killed them."

"Isn't that too much?"

"Absolutely not. The king has sent me here to win the war, not to play petty politics with them. And if they still want to play with me, they have to play by my rules."

They had an idea that Thyra was far more fearsome and dangerous than the one sitting at Digen. And after the massacre of the city center, nobody would question her ferocity.

Although people like Rika and Mia had quickly adopted her thought process, Selda, Ondor, and Fanger could only hope that they wouldn't do anything that would make Thyra angry.

"Oh! Have you put the bodies on around the city?"

Rika nodded, explaining, "Most of them are hanging on the wall, while the rest of the body has been put on sticks and impaled around the wall. It would be hard for them to keep calm after seeing them."

Thyra smiled but didn't say anything. She turned at Mia, ordering, "Tell your group to don the knight armor. You will follow me on horses from now on."

"Yes, leader."

"Is there any other question?" Thyra asked.

No one said anything, so Thyra added, "From tomorrow, each and every one of the soldiers must be prepared to fight at a moment's notice. As soon as you return to the main camp, put the camp on full alert, and always actively scout the area around the main camp before I return."

"Yes, leader." They said it in unison.

"In my absence, Rika's words must be followed as if they were my words." Thyra faced Rika and said, "Consider them your own tribe, and guard them as you would your own. Do not get hung up on titles and such; just do what you think is required. I will take the blame for your decisions."
