From here on out, that was going to be on the top of my mental notebook. Hell, I was going to have it tattooed across my forehead, my ass, and both arms just in case I ever forgot. Because of all the lovely, bright ideas I’d had so far, this one was BY FAR the dumbest.

As in that the silence that followed even got awkward for me!

I tried not to show it, but I was scared. The alpha was looking at me like I’d just grown another head and even the man next to him looked stunned stupid.

But I couldn’t take it back!

I needed to do more than just survive this time. I needed to save my friends. And hell, all I needed was to get out of these chains and I’d happily show them the meaning of deep-fried chicken!
