Eric appeared very busy overseeing the ballroom decoration preparations for the evening party. Liana was busy in the kitchen ensuring that the most special dishes were served for the event.

Tonight, Duke Henry would officially announce that Helena would be his heir, the future duchess. It was just a formality because, in reality, Helena had been fulfilling all of Duke Henry's roles for the past week. The old Duke seemed eager to enjoy his retirement and relax.

"It's a shame that Ethan can't stand by your side during this celebration," Henry said to his granddaughter. "I was really hoping my granddaughters would have suitable dance partners tonight."

Helena busied herself with an increasingly overwhelming workload every day. "I can dance with you as a substitute, don't be so dramatic."
