Once Archer finished eating, the five girls expressed their desire to stay with the 1st Legion when it moved north. He informed them that they would all head to Draconia until the Swarm attacks ceased, but only after meeting up with everyone.

When Teuila suggested picking up the others and bringing them to the fortress, Archer agreed. He decided to go to Mediterra for Hemera, Hecate, and Talila. The girls all agreed with his decision and walked outside with him.

After standing in the courtyard, Archer looked at the girls with a loving smile. ''Be careful on your journey north. I will be back later or in the morning, and I might gather them all at once, saving time,'' he said.

They all nodded before saying goodbye with a kiss. After that, he took off, and by the time he left the fortress wall, he was joined by Brooke, smiling at him. ''You never said goodbye to me, grandson, but that doesn't matter as I'm coming with you.''
