Maxi was both shocked and amused at the same time that she gave him a long look, "You seriously didn't think your mother wouldn't want to know details about how we met? I mean, that's my future mother-in-law we're talking about here, and trust me when I say that this is an examination to check if I'm worthy of her son or not." 

"Oh, is that so?" Issac scratched the back of his head with an awkward smile, this was obviously out of his league. He then explained to Maxi, "I never had a stable relationship, it was just flings and none of the females were worthy enough to be taken home to my mother." 

"Hmmm," Maxi locked her fingers together and placed her chin on it, staring at him smugly, "So does that mean that I'm worthy enough to be taken to your mother?"
