Betrayed Her

Islinda had a nightmare. 

In her dream, her new sister and friend from last night turned into a horse and she could hear her voice in her head too. Crazy.

Good thing, it was in a dream, right? 

Except it wasn't a dream and after a while, Islinda stirred and opened her eyes to the scene of Issac and Maxi looming over her. 

Maxi?! 

Islinda bolted up to her feet causing both Fae to back away and give her space to recuperate as the human stared at them, well, Maxi in particular, with wide, wild eyes. 

"It wasn't a dream," Islinda muttered, her brain finally resuming its functionality. While it seems like hours, Islinda merely fainted for a minute from the shocking revelation before she

came back to reality.
