Regrouping at the Lizard Men’s Territory

As the goblin group pressed onward, their journey towards the lizard men's territory remained steady and focused. The path they traversed brought them face to face with a handful of Flameboars, yet their encounters proved short-lived as Gobius skillfully dispatched them with single, precise shots, leaving no room for the creatures to retaliate.

The Hexa-Armed Gorillas, with their immense strength, quickly picked up the lifeless bodies of the Flameboars and effortlessly carried them.

After a while, Gobusuke and the other goblins have finally arrived at the lizard men's territory. The group entered the territory and Gobryx quickly noticed their presence, and swiftly made his way to Gobusuke's side.

Gobryx walked side by side with the team, and wasted no time in reporting the events that had happened to them to Gobusuke. He recounted their encounter with the 4-star monster, and described how strong the Razorback Grizzly Bear is.

Additionally, he informed Gobusuke about the discovery of crates containing valuable coal and iron steel ore. And of course, he didn't forget to mention Goburus' injuries and how Goburus got knocked out by the bear. He also assured Gobusuke that Goburus was now resting in one of the tents after receiving a healing potion.

Gobusuke listened intently, his brow furrowing as he absorbed the information. He then commended Gobryx for his quick thinking in safely carrying Goburus back to camp. "Well done, Gobryx. Both on your resourcefulness and your escape. We will need to strategize our approach for dealing with that formidable monster at a later time," he said.

Turning his attention to the rest of the goblins, Gobusuke issued a command. "Gobrielle, unsummon the creatures and ensure they find a safe resting spot. The rest of you, take this opportunity to rest and recuperate. We have earned a moment of respite."

Gobrielle nodded in understanding, he then instructed the Hexa-Armed Gorillas to gently place the crates and Flameboar corpses on the ground. With a wave of his hand, the creatures started to disappear and within seconds, their presence are gone.

As instructed, the remaining goblins settled down to rest, their bodies weary from the day's events. Gobrielle sought a quiet corner to rest, his mana slowly replenishing.

While the other goblins are resting, Gobusuke took charge of setting up a campfire, the crackling flames casting a warm glow in the gathering dusk. With deft movements, he skillfully butchered the Flameboars, expertly separating the meat from the bones.

Goburud collected small sticks from the woodpile near one of the lizard men's tents, fashioning them into skewers. Carefully impaling the succulent flameboar meats on the sticks, he positioned them over the fire, allowing them to cook slowly.

The tantalizing aroma of roasting meat filled the air, mingling with the crackling of the campfire. Gobusuke's focused expression softened into a moment of quiet reflection as he tended to the meal.

The savory scent of the cooking flameboar meat wafted through the camp, enticing the tired goblins with its mouthwatering smell. It even reached Goburus, who was resting in the tent.

For a moment, Goburus felt disoriented, his mind grappling with the memories of the intense battle and his subsequent unconsciousness. With cautious steps, Goburus rose from his resting spot and made his way towards the source of the enticing smell.

As Goburus approached the campfire, his presence caught the attention of Gobusuke, who met his gaze with a knowing smile. "Welcome back, Goburus," Gobusuke greeted him warmly. "I'm relieved to see you on your feet again. Are you feeling better now?"

Goburus nodded and said, "I'm good now, Captain. Thank you for your concern."

Gobusuke's smile widened, and he gestured for Goburus to take a seat by the fire. "That's good to hear. Come, sit here."

Then Gobusuke turned his attention to the rest of the goblins. "It's time to eat, everyone," he announced, a touch of warmth in his words. "Gather around the fire and replenish your strength."

At Gobusuke's invitation, the weary goblins eagerly joined him near the crackling campfire. They formed a close-knit circle, their faces illuminated by the warm glow of the flames.

Gobusuke took the lead, distributing the skewered flameboar meat among the goblins. Each goblin received a portion, their hands reaching out to grasp the juicy meat, still steaming from the fire. The scent of the cooked meat intensified as they tore into it, their exhaustion momentarily forgotten in the pleasure of the nourishing meal. As they savored each bite, the goblins exchanged appreciative glances and expressions of satisfaction.

After a few moments of satisfying their hunger, the goblins finished their meal, their energized expressions a testament to the nourishing flameboar meat. Gobusuke glanced around the circle, his eyes meeting each goblin's gaze.

"Take a well-deserved rest for a few minutes," Gobusuke instructed. "After our rest, we will hunt the Razorback Grizzly Bear."

"The ones who will hunt the bear with me will be Gobryx and Gobius," Gobusuke stated firmly. "For the rest of you, remain here in the lizard men's territory. Take this time to rest further and guard our hard-earned loot. Ensure the crates containing the valuable coal and iron steel ore are well-protected."

After a moment of silence, the goblins nodded in understanding. Gobun, the Barrier Master Goblin, stepped forward and acknowledged the command. "Understood, Captain. We will ensure the safety of our loot and maintain a watchful eye over the territory," he affirmed.

The goblins who were designated to remain behind—Gobrielle, Gobbie, Gobmir, and Gobun—gathered their belongings and settled into a comfortable spot near the campsite. They knew their duty was just as vital as the hunt itself, and they vowed to remain vigilant in their task.

While the goblins separated into their respective roles, the camp settled into a brief period of rest and quiet. The crackling of the campfire continued to provide warmth and light, creating a comforting atmosphere amidst the darkness of the lizard men's territory.

As the goblins took a break, time slowly passed, and the camp grew quiet. Gobusuke rose from his spot and looked around at his fellow goblins, who had rested and regained their strength.

"Time to move, everyone," Gobusuke declared. "We have rested enough, and it's time to confront the Razorback Grizzly Bear."

Gobryx and Goburus stood up and gathered their weapons and gear, moving swiftly and efficiently.

Gobusuke turned to Gobryx and said, "Gobryx, lead the way to where the Razorback Grizzly Bear is."

Gobryx nodded, taking the lead and guiding the group. After traveling through the lizard men's territory, the goblin group found themselves deep within the forest.

After what seemed like a long trek, Gobius, who had been scouting while they are traveling, signaled for the group to halt. He gestured discreetly, pointing in the distance where a massive silhouette could be seen moving through the trees.

"Captain, I see the bear. It's far away, but it doesn't seem to know we're here." Gobryx whispered.

Gobusuke's eyes narrowed as he observed the distant figure, his mind already formulating a plan. He turned to Gobryx and Gobius, his voice low but resolute. "Here's what we'll do. Gobius, you will remain hidden and observe the bear's movements. Only take your shot if you are confident it will deliver a fatal blow. Gobryx, you will be my backup, we will initiate the assault, creating an opening for Gobius to strike."

The goblins understood their roles and nodded in agreement, their focus sharpening as they prepared for the imminent encounter with the monster.

As the tension mounted, Gobusuke made a swift hand gesture, signaling to Gobryx, the Dual Arcane Pistolero Goblin and Gobius, the Shadow Sniper Goblin that the time to attack had come. Gobusuke charged forward with quickness and every step he took was calculated, barely making a sound as he closed the distance between himself and the bear. Gobryx followed closely behind, his movements synchronized with Gobusuke's.

Gobusuke, now in position, commanded Gobryx to take aim at the tree in front of the bear. The plan was to break the tree and send it crashing down, hoping to immobilize or at least momentarily disorient the formidable creature.
