THE TOWN CLEANSING 2

Through out the carriage ride Magdalene closed her eyes reciting the spells in her head. Lucas didn't bother her or say anything but his eyes were closed his index finger tapping on his lap lightly.

The town was oddly quiet with no sounds or movements, just few lights illuminating from houses. It seemed like the sleeping potion was at work and the town folks had fallen into deep sleep.

"Will it also affect the castle?" Magdalene asked Lucas.

"No" He answered without opening his eyes.

"Then wouldn't it be a problem for us if any of the castle members leaves the castle?" Magdalene asked.

"They won't because of the presence of incense and holy water in the town, it affects vampires and demons. The human servants have been strictly warned not to leave the castle" Lucas answered.

"Okay'" Magdalene answered but she looked worriedly at him. If holy water affected vampires, demons and evil spirits then it meant it could affect him too.
