Allison rushed down the small wooden hatch with haste, yelping as she felt what felt like little bombs going off above her.
She saw the tied up Sheriff screaming for help at the sounds of battle and roars going on above.
"You. You're-"
"Allison Argent. Stiles' classmate." She said as she cut him loose." Please don't say anything yet at least until we get you to safety."
"Excuse me young lady, but I'm the Sheriff-"
"I know that, but I can't explain anything to you, because well-" A blood lance pierced through the wooden hatch and pinned itself in the ground in front of them. "Because of that."
The Sheriff was shook but managed to keep his silence as he stared at the blood lance in wonder and shock. He was also surprised when he saw Allison pull out a gun but kept in whatever he wanted to say for when he had fully accessed the situation.
Climbing out of the little cellar under the Nemeton, the Sheriff bore witness to the most frightening thing he's ever seen in his life and it was Allison who stopped him as he instinctively tried to pull out his gun upon seeing Tristan.
"Get him out of here, now!" Chris shouted upon seeing that the two of them had gotten out.
He knew that without the sacrifice, Jennifer would be forced to run away and they could finally put their focus on Deucalion.
"W-what the hell is that?" Noah Stilinski shouted in shock as he saw the fully shifted Alphas and betas battling it out in a display of bestial savagery.
Allison grabbed his hands and broke off into a sprint. "We don't have time. My mom and Scott's mother have been kidnapped just like you were and we need to find them. Stiles and Isaac Lahey are already out there looking for them."
Noah took a quick look behind them and then forcefully shelved his rapidly growing curiosity to focus on the little tidbit of information Allison just gave him.
"Got a phone on you? I need to make a call." Taking the phone from her, he called the station and relayed the information Allison just gave him, unable to bring himself to doubt the veracity of it after what he'd seen.
"Attention all units…"
….
[POV: With Stiles, Tierney and Isaac]
Speeding full throttle ahead in Derek's car with Isaac driving, the group made a hasty stop at Scott's house to grab something that had Melissa's scent on it which Tierney sniffed out, being the more experienced werewolf between the two of them.
Stiles tried putting in a lot of calls to Melissa but none of them went through, and even his call to the hospital came back with a negative response of no one knowing where she's been since she went home after her night shift.
"Got anything yet?" Stiles asked impatiently, to which Tierney shook her head. He was repeatedly getting desperate as time went on and they were yet to get a trail scent of Melissa or Argent, and he also was ignorant of what was happening back at the Nemeton's grove.
As Isaac drove through the roads of Beacon Hills, he phone started ringing.
"Hey Boyd, sorry can't talk now." He said urgently as he put the phone to his ear. "Wait, what? Come again."
He then held his phone out after putting it on loud speaker.
[Um, it's Lydia. She called me saying she couldn't reach anyone. She said she keeps hearing owl noises and something else she couldn't describe.]
"Where are you right now? Where is Lydia?" Stiles asked.
[I'm making my way over to her right now. I think her mom is having another panic attack. Is something going on? You guys sound serious?]
"Yeah, you could say that." Isaac replied.
[I see. No wonder I couldn't get to Tristan and Malia. Almost thought they were both being petty and ignoring my calls. Anyways, what's going on?]
"Apparently, Scott and Allison's mom were both taken and we're trying to find them." Isaac said, and with how silent the line went immediately after, Isaac knew that Boyd was just as shocked they had first been when they heard Jennifer say so.
[And Lydia can help somehow?]
"We don't know. But right now we need anything close to a clue as we can get." Stiles replied.
They got to Lydia's house and even from the outside they could hear Lydia's frantic voice almost screaming to the high heavens.
Luckily for them, they didn't meet her mother at the door or else they would have been in for a long while of explaining and consoling the distraught woman.
"Lydia, calm down! Tell us what happened?"
"Where the hell is Tristan?!" She shouted frantically.
"They are probably fighting the Alpha Pack as we speak. Why?" Isaac answered, causing Lydia and Boyd to look at him, realization and shock evident on both their faces.
"Because," she sighed and collapsed on her bed, not realizing the urgency they all had to her wasting their time, "I started hearing these whispers ever since that night."
"Well, none of this turned out useful." Tierney said. "She doesn't know where they are, and the more time we spend here, the closer they are to dying… if they are not already."
"I'm sorry, who are you?" Lydia asked the only stranger in the group but the girl didn't answer her and just walked out of the house, followed by Isaac. "Wait, what about me? I'm here, scared out of my mind and you guys are just leaving?"
"People are about to die, Lydia! And unless you can help us find them then we are clearly wasting our time here." Stiles shouted in a rare moment. His nerves were all stretched thin with the knowledge that both his father and Scott's mother were in grave danger.
Surprised by Stiles' harsh reaction, Lydia stuttered, visibly struggling to say something.
"What's wrong, Lydia?" Boyd, who was quick to notice her reaction, asked, drawing the others attention to the fidgeting girl.
"I-I feel suffocated. It's like I'm boxed all around and no matter how I scream, it feels like nobody hears me. Like I'm in-"
"A grave." Isaac said absentmindedly with an understanding tone and immediately all their eyes went up in realization.
"I'm driving." Boyd said and got into Lydia's car before the girl could say anything. "Well, come on in."
"Did someone light up the Sheriff's station? It looks like a blue Christmas out there."
Following Isaac, they drove full speed to the cemetery, observing the squadrons of deputies driving all over Beacon Hills.
"Why are the police everywhere? We're not going to get arrested, are we?" Boyd asked, a little scared at the prospect of being on the other side of the law.
"No, I think it's my dad."
"Guys, shut up. I think I can hear something!" Tierney shouted. "Over here!"
There, tied under one of the trees at the other end of the cemetery were the two women the group came out looking for.
"Oh, thank God! Mind helping me help them out of this? I'm not the one with claws, remember?"
Slowly the two women started waking up and the first thing they received was a critical stare from the Lady Argent, whose expression only relaxed when she realized who exactly they were.
"Boys and girls."
"Stiles?"
"Yes?"
"We're not dead, are we?"
Stiles chuckled good-naturedly while lightly shaking his head. "Yet. You are not dead yet."
"Haha smart-ass." Melissa visibly relaxed, her nerves of steel only topped by the composed look on Chris' wide, Victoria.
"Lydia? What is happening?" Victoria asked Lydia, the only person she was familiar with, because of course she wouldn't ask a beta of Hale.
"I, uh…"
"Derek, the Druid, Deucalion and the Buddhist Pack are currently in the woods duking it out. And Scott's there too." Stiles replied, adding the latter part for Scott's mother in an effort to hopefully reassure her.
"And Allison?"
"Also there."
Victoria nodded and said nothing besides walking away.
"And where are you going?" Unlike the others, Isaac wasn't as scared, well maybe not entirely, or respectful of any of the Argents, Allison included.
She stopped, stared stone cold hard at him that he subconsciously shivered, and walked away while saying, "My husband and daughter are out there. That's where I'm supposed to be."
"Isaac come on, let's go. We've wasted enough time as is." Tierney pulled him towards Derek's car and once again drove off back to the woods.
"Um, guys, can we please leave? I don't like being here."
