Rosemary stepped out of the police station using the hidden exit, trembling from her recent meeting with her husband's mistress. So many emotions filled her chest, and she had difficulty reining her feelings. She looked at her companion and forced a smile on her face.

"Did I do well?" She asked Uncle Shark.

Uncle Shark had been there for her from the moment she regained consciousness. The man rarely spoke and didn't like striking conversation with anyone except when Adrienne was around. He would only leave her side whenever Adrienne sent him for an errand only he could do.

Uncle Shark would also opt to eat instant noodles as the Zhao estate's cook and household helpers would alienate him. He always had an intimidating expression, keeping everyone at arm's length. It seemed to Rosemary that he only respects Adrienne and Reese, while Uncle Shark tolerates Hunter and Lennox to some extent.
