I Was Never Rejected

The next morning, Xiao Li was too busy with schools work and called Cheng Hua, telling her that she won't be able to bring some food. Du Lixin also called Wang Lei and asked him to buy some food for Cheng Hua since Xiao Li would be busy.

"Why do I have to buy her food. I'm a doctor not a waiter, Du Lixin, you should send someone to do that and besides." He paused then sighed. "She doesn't want to talk to me or even see me."

"Awwn so you are sad about, then go give her some food. You acted like you didn't know her even after that night so how do you expect her to react to your actions. You are a man so if you like her, buy some food and give her, if you can, you should even feed her. I'm off now but remember, she is a woman and they are difficult to coax." He said then hung up.

Wang Lei sighed then left his office, he got to his car then drove to restaurant.

"What exactly does she likes." (sucks teeth). "I think she'll also like what Xiao Li likes. I'll have to ask Lixin."

He brought out his phone then dialed Du Lixin's number.

"What is it, did she reject you again?" Du Lixin said thirdly from the other end.

"I was never rejected." He said then cleared his throat. "What kind of food does Xiao Li likes?"

"How does my wife's likes and dislikes concern you?"

"No I don't mean that. Since she is Xiao Li's bestfriend, I guessed the both of them would like the same thing or probably."

"Okay if you say so. Xiao Li likes desserts, spring rolls, wonton soup. I guess that would help, I'm busy now." He said and hung up.

Wang Lei exhaled sharply and said to the waiter. "I need cakes, no no, she's sick now. I want sring rolls and wonton soup and also rice then erm... just add a slice of strawberry cake. I won't be eating here so I want it to be packaged."

"Yes sir." The waiter said and started serving.
