"I guess you have also seen the mark on her neck. It doesn't belong to me, it belongs to Seth." 

Dav had expected Xander to have a surprised look on the grin that he possessed. 

"I know, your wife told me." Now, it was Dav whose eyes were made wide open. Why would his wife say that to Xander? 

"So I guess you are going to mock me for this." Dav blurted out with full sarcasm. 

Yes, he deprived Dav of so much pleasure from mocking Dav, but not today. Instead, Dav's attitude irked them, he knew very much who Seth was to Eliza, and he shouldn't feel jealous whenever he sees her with Seth. 

The mark was just a booster to the force of attraction they were already there.

"No, I won't. You know this was inevitable. If you really wanted to spend time with your wife, you shouldn't have introduced her to Seth. The connection had always been there, you just needed to introduce them to each other, and boom, things fell into place."
