Sophia ignored the jab, her smile never wavering. "I just thought I'd say hello." She gestured to her guildmates with a flourish. "And as you can see, The Arcane Wardens appreciate my talents more than certain... other guilds."

Elio's jaw tightened, but his voice remained calm. "I'm glad you've found a place where you feel valued."

"Oh, I do," Sophia purred, her eyes gleaming with triumph. "And with Liam and Darren by my side, I'm sure we'll make an excellent showing tonight."

Behind her, Liam and Darren exchanged glances, their avatars shifting awkwardly. It didn't take a genius to see they weren't thrilled about being dragged along for Sophia's ego trip.

Sophia's grin widened as she leaned closer to Elio, lowering her voice just enough to sound conspiratorial. "By the way, you'll want to watch out during the event. I've got some surprises planned. Let's just say, I don't need you to make an impact."
