Allen arrived at the platform where the auction NPC stood. As always, the area was bustling with players, all eager to buy, sell, or check the status of their own auctions. But Allen moved through the crowd. He quickly accessed the auction interface, his fingers flying over the holographic menu as he navigated to his listings.

The three bizarre items he had placed up for auction were displayed on the screen. He had expected some curiosity, perhaps a bid or two from players who didn't know any better, but what he saw made him pause. There were more than three bids on each item. The prices weren't astronomical, but they were comfortably above what he would have gotten by selling the items directly to the NPC. It was more than he had anticipated, and it would certainly add a few coins to his coffers. However, one item stood out.
