The Starlight academy part 2

In the next few days Max just slept and talked with Vanessa about different topics to know where he was located and what was going on in this place. The young women did tell him what she knew. She did not have access to high level information, but other women from her year and lower years loved to talk about girl stuff when they got together and a lot of information was revieled to Vanessa and she happily spoke to Max about it. He also got some infomation about him. She was very direct and it sounded more like a sob story to make Max pamper her more. She was born at a pretty standard commoner family in the Nexus empire. Here all kids had the ability to be tested for knight and magic talent at the age of ten. When she got tested she was surprised to know that she did have a rare talent for magic and not a bad one. It was not on a level of genious like Redon or Marco, but it was still decent enough for the local forces to take her and try and train her into some kind of ellite. She had a good talent for the fire element. Because there were enough commoners with talent the screening process was very brutal. Many young people died in the process. The test Max saw was one of those kinds of tests commoners had to endure to continue to get sponsered by the empire. Vanessa did all she could to get stronger. She did pretty well getting to where she was right now. Many people quit and had to pay compensation for the empire for the rest of their lives. Vanessa was close to graduating from the academy and getting an official post that will let her live comfotebly and slowly repay the empire for the resources she consumed to get to this level. A commoner will graduate when they get to the level five mage. She was getting to the last stage of this process. She was at the peak of level one mage. Commoners that progressed to the second mage level and did not take the test could be severely punished. Vanessa did her best to be at top shape and still almost died.

Now she could continue to progress and finally finish with her studies. Many commoner women did all they could to survive so sleeping with some noble representatives for favours was nothing new. Vanessa did try to make less of those stuff because when you get into bed with some noble and you get the point that he is not okay in the head it is hard to annual the agreement. A lot of young beautiful women got their lives ruined because such relationships. In the case of Max, it was hard to not go at him with full force after he litterly gave her the ability to live where she would die for sure. 

Max was not of the ungrateful type, and he did not mind giving her the resources she so much needed for growth. Max gave her a potion for increasing the cultivation speed. He gave her the best one he could produce and the only ones he did produce right now. This potion did increase the cultivation speed by 64 times. He did have lower quality ones, but she really tried her best to tell him everything she knew. Even things she should not tell to people outside the academy. Max did appreciate it and because of that he was fair to her. When she got the potion she was elated. She hugged him tighyly, while pressing her breasts into him and said: "Thank you so much!"

Max just smiled and said: "You try it now and then thank me."

Vanessa did not need any more encouragement and sat down to meditate after consuming the potion. When she felt the huge amount of increase of speed in her cultivation she was dumbfounded. She had never felt such increase from alchemical products to such degree. The best she felt was around 4 times more. It meant the highest-level potion she consumed was medium quality according to Max's standards. Now she consumed peak level potion.

Quickly she felt that her bottleneck that she was stuck in for some time did loosen completely and she effortlessly got into the second level mage. It took her a very short time. It was something that could take years without the right resources. When she solidified her foundation and finished mediating, she opened her eyes and asked in surprise: "What kind of potion is this? It increased my speed of absorbing mana by more than fifty times. Did you create it by yourself? The best ones we get at the academy increase our cultivation speed by around 4 times."

Max sighed and explained: "There are few levels of alchemical products:

low level ones: Increase the speed to cultivation by two.

medium level: Increase goes up to four times. That what you consumed. It's not bad actually.

High level: Increase the speed by sixteen times.

Peak level: This is a special category that I created that increase the speed of cultivation by around sixty-four times.

Transcendent level: Increase the cultivation speed by around three hundred times. It is something that i could not create yet. I don't even know if it's something possible. To make such a thing you should just do everything perfect to the smallest details."

Vanessa listened to Max with interest and then with a smirk she said: "Get ready for my thank you for what you have done for me now. Hehe."

After a few hours Max was sucked dry by this woman. She did not stand on ceremony. After around one more day of travel which was around almost two weeks Max finally saw a mountain range that was full of buildings. It was very impressive. If he would compare Alexandria to this, he would say that Alexandria was a small village. He had finally arrived at the academy grounds. After seeing this place Max was excited for the future to come. It was a new chapter for him, and he hoped it would be something calm and relaxing and not the dogshit that happen all the time.
