Chapter 34

The next night…

It was almost late when they arrived back at the apartment, but they had dinner anyway.

While washing the dishes, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and kisses on her neck.

"What are you up to now?" She asked.

He turned her around and caged her in between his arms.

"Nothing much. Except, I'm home alone with my girlfriend. At night. And there's no chance anyone will walk in on us."

"I know what you're thinking, and not on a school night."

"Aw, c'mon."

"Nope. You still have to finish high school and get into university. And you won't be able to do that if you don't focus."

"But..."

"No buts, I'm doing this for your own good. And us living together is a privilege, not a right. I can always move out, and you'll only see me when school's out."

"Fine. Fridays and Saturdays."

"Good. I forgot to add in except when it's exam time. Now off to bed. I'll join you once I've finished up."

"Yes, ma'am."

A few minutes later, she joined him.

"I'm starting to wonder if you're my mom or my girlfriend."

"Don't go there."

Next morning...

He got on top of her and planted kisses on her neck, leaving a hickey with each one.

"You do realise that we have school, right?"

"I know, but we have five minutes to spare."

After five minutes of kisses, they got ready for school. While trying to tie her hair, she noticed something in the mirror.

"You've got to be kidding me."

"What's wrong?"

"Look."

She showed him the hickeys on her neck that the collar of her shirt couldn't hide.

"Guess I went a little overboard."

"You think."

She untied her hair, and it helped cover the ones on the sides of her neck.

"That works, and as long as you don't lift your chin, I don't think anyone will notice the other ones."

"You might want to take an umbrella with you today. It'll rain later."

"Are you sure? The skies are clear."

"Has my nose ever been wrong?"

"Fair point."

When he turned around, she slapped his ass.

"Did you just..."

"I couldn't help it. You have a nice ass." She shrugged and smirked.

Later...

"I thought lunch would never come. Man, I'm starving," Twilight stretched her arms.

Ayaka and Atsumi just stared at her, then at each other and then back at her.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

"Oh, there's something alright," Atsumi said. "But not on your face."

Ayaka moved Twilight's hair out of the way. "More like on your neck. I thought it was weird that you wore your hair like that. You usually tie it."

"When did you guys find out?"

"You exposed yourself when you stretched your arms." They both said.

"Good job. You might as well put a sign above your head that says: Hey, I almost got fucked this morning," Tis said.

"Get off my back, will you?"

"Why didn't you tell us that you got a boyfriend? Is he tall? On a scale of one to ten, how handsome is he? How's his personality? How old is he? How long have you been dating him? How many dates have you guys gone on?" Ayaka asked.

"How is she supposed to answer if you don't give her time to? And the important question here is: who is he? Wait, don't tell me it's Kogami. I can't imagine him doing that to you. But on the other hand, it's always the quiet ones."

"No. And it's not important who he is."

"Not important? We wanna know who, besides Kogami, was able to sweep you off your feet. He must be one interesting guy or not. We never know with you," Atsumi said.

"Can't you guys just drop it? It's really not that deep."

"Why does it sound like you're involved in something shady?" Ayaka asked.

"I'm not. You're going to make a big deal out of it if I tell you."

"You know what, she's going to tell us at some point," Atsumi said. "The relationship is probably still new anyway. And if it is something shady, she probably doesn't want to drag us into it."

"Ugh, fine. By the way, have you heard that Pres transferred to another school?"

"Yeah, apparently Kobayashi is going to take his place, and there'll be someone else to replace him as vice-pres. It's kinda weird, I wonder why pres. transferred."

"Yeah, I wonder," Twilight said.

A few days later…

"You have something on your face," Takumi said.

"Where?" She asked, trying to wipe her face.

"Let me get it."

He leaned across the table and kissed her. She laid on her arms.

"Why?" She mumbled while blushing.

"Do I need a reason to kiss my girlfriend?"

"No, but did you have to do it in front of everyone?"

"Now other guys know that you're mine."

"Looks like someone's possessive side is finally showing."

"Admit it, it turns you on."

"Maybe."

After Kendo club, she went to get changed and met Takumi by the lockers. It was already raining outside.

"Good thing you made me take an umbrella with me."

"I told you so. We should hurry back home before it gets worse."

He put his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Just as they rounded a corner, she saw a puddle and went to jump in it.

"I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be doing that in this kind of weather," Takumi said.

"I can't help it."

She jumped into a few more on the way.

"And now you're completely soaked. You've never done that before, so I wonder what's gotten into you."

"I guess I just wanted to put my maturity aside for a few minutes. Weirdly enough, it felt nice."

"As much as it's good, I wonder if it'll be worth it when you get sick."

"I never get sick."

"I still think you're pushing your luck. Anyway, take a shower so you can change into dry clothes."

"Now look who's acting like a parent," She teased.

He gave her his hoodie plus a pair of sweatpants and fuzzy socks to change into.

After taking his shower, he joined her on the couch with a blanket for some TV, but just then, the power went out.

"What an eventful night," She stated sarcastically.

"I can think of something to pass the time."

"What?"

"It's a Friday night, and we're in the dark. What do you think?"
