However, Brad remained lost in thought, his gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside the car window. His brow furrowed as he pondered the recent turn of events. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Mr. Anderson's change of heart than met the eye.

But then, out of the blue, Mr. Anderson called him and scheduled an urgent appointment, seemingly eager to continue their collaboration.
