Inside Everbee's Head

Lenny walked forward. This was action that made him stagger from left to right. But he did, and then when he reached the Goblet, he stretched a hand, "thank you for the meal!" 

He touched it. Surprisingly, the goblet still felt as soft and tender as it was during their sexual intercourse. 

In fact, it did not seem like anything had changed at all. To the sense of touch, all was the same. But the Baroness had been broken and remoulded into a tool. 

Lenny reached for her. To be precise, he reached for her head. There was a small shiny object there. Although, it looked like a pearl of sorts, but Lenny knew that this was not an ordinary Pearl. 

This item was actually Baroness Everbee's core. 

Digging his finger into her skull, he plugged it out. 

lenny brought it to his face. He was very tired. But this core was worth all the planning and all the effort. 

Without wasting any more time, he threw it into his mouth and swallowed.
