Felicity gulped as she excused herself to the bathroom to finish the phone call.

"Meet where?"

Perry gave her directions to meet at an abandoned building far enough out of town that no one would find them. That made her nervous, but she promised she wouldn't tell anyone, even Weston.

She returned to the bedroom.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

It wasn't but she lied. "Yes. It was Christie. Do you mind if I meet her for a little while? She needs a bit of girl time."

She hated telling the lie and she hated using her best friend in the lie, but she knew Christie would understand.

"Of course. I have things I need to do anyhow. Can we put the conversation on hold?"
