final stretch

"Do you really think they head this way?" Oli asked as both he and Eli looked for us in the village,

"Yeah, why?"

Oli looked at the footprints that lead in every direction, but where they were going,

"No reason..."

"Let's hurry this up, red racer's on."

"Red what?" Eli asked confused,

"Red racer it's a new thing I found on the tv today!"

"I think you're spending an unhealthy amount of time behind that tele-"

"Whatever you say, Eli,"

"Leave me alone! I have nothing to give!" I pleaded as I ran through the narrow streets of the market, the man was close on my tail refusing to let me shake him off,

"Pay me what you owe!"  The man shouted from behind.

"I don't owe you a damn thing, you geezer!!"

I kept pushing through the crowd,  probably causing a minor casualty or two I couldn't tell with all the people I was pushing by,

"Why!" I shouted,

"Why does it have to be me?!"
