Amnesia

Carlo was quite surprised to hear what Alex said and his mind went blank for a few seconds. Once Carlo regained a bit of his composure he gripped his smartphone hard before suddenly bursting out.

"Are you sure Alex?! Are you sure Rachel's father is Dan Regius?!"

"Affirmative, I have seen his picture placed on an altar, apparently the family thinks he's dead," Alex responded with his usual indifferent tone. Carlo had mixed feelings after hearing the news, that the family his comrade was looking for turns out to be living in his homeland.

"So Dad how should I proceed? Do I tell the family that he's still alive, or do I tell them nothing? Why didn't Instructor return home in the first place?" Hearing Alex's questions Carlo sighed over the phone.
