Chapter Twenty Eight

CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

My whole body feels cold as my eyes take in the faces of my parents, my brother, and his mate. My sister-in-law is holding my baby niece who is unharmed, something which I’m grateful for.

“What the hell is this?” Adam asks, angrily. “You kidnapped her family from their pack?”

“Kidnapped?” Jason laughs, amused. “Their Alpha was more than happy to hand them over. What do you think, Danielle? Aren’t I good at keeping my promises?”

My whole body yearns to run to my parents but Adam’s hold on my hand is unwavering. He gives me a warning look and I stay still.

“And what’s the point of this?” My mate asks, coolly. “You bring them here. Now what? It’s not going to change anything. Danielle is still my Luna.”

Jason smirks, stretching his legs as he lounges in his chair, “Well, since Danielle decided to break out terms of agreement -”

“She was deceived.”
