After returning to the cabin, Shen Xu retrieved the pendant necklace and wore it around his neck.

One day later, they heard a knock on their cabin door.

"I didn't expect them to be so patient." Shen Xu chuckled and Zhen Yuan nodded.

At first, Shen Xu and Zhen Yuan thought Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi would approach them soon after they left the entrance of the Demon Plants Forest.

Unexpectedly, Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi waited half a month before they came to see them.

"I will open the door." Shen Xu said.

A moment later, he opened the door and welcomed Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi into their room.

"What can we do for dean Dongfang and elder Chen?" Shen Xu asked after everyone settled down.

"Isn't it time for you to fulfil your end of the deal?" Chen Yi asked, his eyes narrowed into slits.
