Chapter 145 : Attack on port royal(1)

In the governor's mansion, the night was still and quiet. The only sound was the ticking of the grandfather clock in the corner and the occasional creak of the floorboards. The moonlight streaming in through the windows cast a soft glow over the furniture and paintings, and the fire in the fireplace gave off a warm, inviting glow.

In Elizabeth's room

Elizabeth was sitting on the bed in a daze.

"Miss what are you thinking?" asked the maid as she saw her miss was thinking about something deep.

"Nothing, I met that man today," said Elizabeth while thinking

"Who?" asked the maid with a confused expression

"The man I met at the ship eight years ago," said Elizabeth as she cannot forget Alex's appearance.

"Where?" asked the maid

"He is the one who saved me when I fell into the sea."

"Then where did he go after saving you?"

"I don't know, he disappeared mysteriously," said Elizabeth

"Mysteriously how ?" asked the maid

"Have you ever seen blue speak over the human body?" asked Elizabeth as she remembered how Alex disappeared.

"What miss did you see it right?"

"Yes I saw it, the man disappeared with blue sparks all over his body, like lightning "

"Miss, it seems you are seeing things that are not real," the maid said in a worried voice.

"No, I'm not seeing things."

"Okay, miss take a good rest," said the maid not believing Elizabeth

At the same time

At the Black Pearl ship

"Bring me that coin and the person wearing it," said a figure standing at the helm of the ship.

"Yes " shouted all the pirates

"Now attack."

"this time we will break the curse " muttered the person seeing the port royal city

At a tavern

"Finally they arrived, now what do I do?"

"Let's see if I can kill them or not," Alex said as he looked towards the governer mansion

Soldiers were patrolling the city walls, their rifles held at the ready as they watched the streets below. The night was still and the air was heavy with anticipation as they silently waited for any sign of trouble.

"Hey did you hear the notice?" asked one soldier as he heard the sounds of cannon firing.

The loud thunder of cannon fire vibrated the walls, shaking the foundations of the fortress as the powerful blasts attacked the walls relentlessly.

"Cannon fire"

The loud alarm echoed throughout the city, alerting everyone to imminent danger and potential attack. The sound of cannon fire reverberated through the streets.

"Run pirates are attacking," said a man running

The civilians ran as they heard the man's warning with fear, desperately searching for a place to hide from the pirates.

The pirates had sailed into the port of Port Royal and began to take whatever they could find. They looted and pillaged, setting fire to buildings and terrorizing the citizens.

In the governor's mansion.

"Miss pirates are attacking, you have to go to a safe place," said the maid with panic and fear.

When Elizabeth was about to speak a figure appeared in the room

"We meet again," said the figure

Seeing the figure Elizabeth and the maid was shocked and became vigilant

"You how are you here ?" asked Elizabeth as she saw Alex

"By walking"

"Now that is not the point, it seems you are in a dangerous situation," said Alex as he saw the destruction of the city through the window

"Why am I in danger?" asked Elizabeth not understanding why she was in danger.

"Can't you see, the pirates are attacking ?"

"In this city, there is the thing that is attracting them," said Alex with a mysterious expression.

"What is that?" asked Elizabeth, as she wants to know what is attracting the pirates.

Then Alex pointed his hand at Elizabeth.

"Me?" Elizabeth answered with a confused expression, not understanding why pirates were attracted to her.

"No."

"The medallion you are wearing," said Alex pointing towards the medallion.

"You mean this?" asked Elizabeth as she looked at the medallion

"Yes "

"Why is this thing attracting them?" asked Elizabeth

"You should be aware of the story I told you about the lost treasure and the cursed people."

"The cursed people are wandering in the sea in search of this coin "

"They will obtain this coin at any cost," said Alex

"Then they will leave if I give these coin to them?" asked Elizabeth with a questioning gaze.

"No, they also want a person," said Alex

"Who is that?" asked Elizabeth

"Who knows?" Alex asked without answering Elizabeth's question

"Miss the pirates are attacking the mansion " shouted a guard

As soon as the guard finished his sentence, the doors of the mansion were forcefully opened and the pirates stormed in.

The killing sounds of people filled the air as the pirates wreaked havoc in the mansion. The guards were all taken by surprise by the sudden attack and were unable to defend the mansion.
