UNDER THE INFLUENCE

"I really do not have a good feeling about this. Are you sure this stone can help him too? It was given to you for ending him." Selene asked as she accompanied them to the portal.

"It is a misconception you all have. The stone was given to me so that I can achieve whatever I desire. It does not serve a specific purpose. I am now using it for rescuing him." Kristen sighed as she held Lucifer's hand for support.

"I trust you." 

Selene was really happy to know that he can be saved and the confidence Kristen held but she was not sure if that was all it. She clearly despised the fact that he was trusting Kristen without any other thoughts. She felt pushed aside by the man and the helplessness she was going through is not making it any better.

"Wait a minute." Selene said abruptly as she stood in front of the duo.

"Hmm?"
