Making a deal with her sister

Rex laughed out loud when he saw the look on Maverick's face. "I can see someone getting pregnant sooner than the weather changes. It would seem like a dreeeam… do not say I didn't warn youuuuu."

Hearing Rex's song, Jeslyn raised her head to look at Maverick and froze when she saw him arching his brow. She forgot he was here. 

She shook her head, intending to tell him she was just bluffing but he scoffed and looked away. 

Not healthy? Fine, he'll ask for the doctor who told her so and if she can't produce the quack, he'll make her fall sick tonight. 

Jeslyn smiled bitterly. She knew that she had done something wrong and won't be able to avoid 'punishment' tonight unless her period comes… she paused and then smiled when an idea formed in her mind. 

Rex was enjoying the look on their faces but unfortunately cannot spy into their hearts to know their thoughts. What a bad luck. But not to worry, he'll know what happened tomorrow morning.
