Their First Meet

Decades ago, before that fateful accident of the Yu family, everything was peaceful, at least on the surface. Yu Weimin's memories started when he was little. As a kid, he was extremely quiet when he needs to be, extremely obedient when he needs to be, and extremely smart for his own good.

He also had an elder brother, Yu Chen, who would take care of him, but Yu Weimin could feel his brother was weird. He knew the other didn't have the ability to feel emotions like normal people. Even though he was small, he knew it was a terrifying sickness.

But his elder brother would always remain calm and composed as if he wasn't the one to suffer. Because of this, Yu Chen became a hero figure in his mind, the kind of person who could handle everything.

So the only person Yu Weimin was ever obedient to was this brother of his. If Yu Chen asked him to go east, he would never go west.
