New Magic Item Acquired Part 2

Elle Looked at the wooden stake she had used to cook her mushrooms and peppers with and noticed it had a smooth surface that would be conducive to writing. Since it was made of wood, she thought perhaps it would be interesting to see what would happen if she wrote a simple command on the wood. She wrote the word burn.

The word itself began to glow and then it disappeared into the wood. A second after the word vanished the place where she wrote the word burst into flame. She tossed the stick down on the sand when it ignited as the sudden combustion startled her.

"It worked?!" She said, surprise clearly oozing from her words.

"What did you do?" Dax asked, curious as he did not see what she had written.

"I told it to burn and look! It's on fire!" Elle said.

"Does that mean your pen has the power to command objects?" Fey asked. She picked up a nearby rock and tossed it over to Elle. "Write fly on that rock and see what happens."
