Late Night Study Part 1

"I see." Dax replied to Fey.

"Let's go." Fey said. "Do you remember how to log off?"

"We aren't going to help Ron?" Dax asked.

"Why would we do that?" Fey asked. "We would only be getting ourselves into trouble as well. Not only that but if we continue to help and save him, he will never learn to be strong on his own. This is for the best."

Das thought about what Fey told him. After a brief moment of silence, he turned to his cousin, who was still unconscious on the floor, and gave him a smile and a thumbs up. "Good luck, Ron!"

He and Fey then brought up their menus and logged out.

The experience of exiting the virtual world was surreal. As if traveling backwards through a dark tunnel at the speed of light. Dax blinked a few times as his consciousness returned to the real world. It was dark, the inside of the helmet covered his eyes.
