AIRPORT IN MAINE
POV DESMOND
The plane ride only lasted a couple of hours. Nathaniel seemed sullen the entire time. He stated it was because he couldn't feel the wind in his hair on the plane. I couldn't help but laugh at him.
As we were making our way off the plane one of the flight attendants gave Nathaniel a not-so-subtle touch on the arm as she said goodbye. I just smiled at her and grabbed his hand, pulling him along with me.
Once we made our way off the plane, I waved at our driver near the entrance.
It was just as cold, if not colder outside. Our driver gave Nathaniel a once over and seemed to be in disbelief that someone wasn't wearing at least three coats out in this weather. As he drove us to the house, I marked a couple of stores I wanted to run by and grab him proper winter gear.
