WAREHOUSE
POV NATHANIEL
I sprinted the last few miles to the warehouse. I had stopped to feed in a back alley after I left the apartment. I knew my roommates would treat Desmond well. Although I was still on the fence with Hamond. He had only been with me a few years, and I still couldn't get a read on the guy.
I stopped outside the backdoor and lit a cigarette. I didn't like to smoke but it helped take the edge off on nights like this. I leaned against the wall and took a drag. My mind kept replaying the events from my bedroom. I had wanted to taste every inch of him.
I realized now that my roommates probably heard everything. Probably best to keep all future tumbles to his place. I took another long pull from the cigarette. I was still about to feel the head rush and it helped dull the sense of foreboding.
