12.The Unforeseen Consequences..

-Mount Justice-

Sean stands in the middle of the training room well more specifically he holds himself up with one hand on the mat as well as the rest of his body single singlehandley

The same memories or dreams of some sort have been a constant distraction for Sean and what better way to spend time while holding himself up..literally off the ground

'(What the hell did I see last night? It was real..I know it was I felt it..I heard it, but I don't know who or what those people were..maybe Cadmus scientists? God..this sucks"

He fails to notice Kara walk into the room as she looks Sean doing his hand stand she gives him a confused look

Kara:Sean?

His train of thought is cutoff as his eyes dart to Kara

"Hey what's up?"

Kara:What are you doing?

"A very long hand stand.."

Kara:How long have you been at this?

"Uhh..what time is it?"

Kara:It's 9 o'clock

"Wow ive really been up all night"

He pushes himself up and does a front flip as he lands on his feet

Kara:You haven't slept all night!

"Yes?"

Kara:Sean you can't just stay up all night like that

"Pretty sure I can I don't need to eat or sleep surprisingly hell I feel fine I didn't even sweat at all..I choose to sleep and eat im perfectly fine and healthy"

Kara:But--

Sean places his hand on her shoulder and gives her a small smile

"Kara hey look at me..im fine if anything happens you and Karen will be the first people to know I promise"

She lets out a small sigh of relief and nods her head a bit understanding

Kara:Sean..your..ahem not wearing a shirt..

Sean tilts his head slightly as he looks down and sees that he is indeed not wearing a shirt

"Oh..wait is that a bad thing because if you want I can--"

Kara:Nono..it's not, I just..didn't except to see you like this

"Wait a minute...*steps closer* am I making you uncomfortable?"

A blush spreads through her face as all Sean can do is laugh

Kara:W-what..n-no..the Girl of Steel doesn't get nervous..especially not to--

"Wow your a bad liar did you know that when you lie you get a crinkle on your nose"

Kara:Man I need to get botox for that..

"It's cute to be honest"

He tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear and kisses her cheek as Sean walks away leaving Kara to just smile at her boyfriend

Kara:That boy..I swear..how does Karen do this?

-Small Time Skip-

Sean grips his head a bit as a sudden rush of pain hits him but it quickly fades as he looks around to make sure no one is watching

"Make it stop..god please..."

A hand touches his shoulder as he quickly spins around and pins whoever it is against the wall with his hand on their throat

Donna:Woah woah hey!

"Donna? What are you doing?"

Donna:I heard you talking to yourself..mind letting me go?

"Hm? Oh right.."

He releases his grip on her as she rubs her neck a bit

Donna:I knew you were strong but I didn't know you were that strong

"I'm sorry about that im just not used to people sneaking up on me..force of habit"

Donna looks down at Sean's hands as she notices them shaking a bit she looks back up at him with a very worried look

Donna:Sean..are you okay?

"Yeah yeah im fine"

Donna:Then why are your hands shaking?

Sean looks down at his hands and sees that they're shaking as he takes a deep breath and calms himself down

"I don't know what your talking about well I uhh have to go"

He starts to walk away from her but Donna doesn't give up that easily as she runs ahead and blocks Sean's path

Donna:Your afraid aren't you?

"Pfft me? No..im have nothing to be afraid of im Doomsday remember?"

Donna:But im not talking to Doomsday..im talking to Sean Turner

She goes to reach out for him but he takes a step back his eyes glow for a bit

"Don't..Donna..just don't, I have to go.."

He brushes past her and uses his super speed to vanish from her sight all she can do is stand there and ponder what's going on with Sean..

Sean starts to head towards his room as his headache only grows more and more he yells out in pain as he falls to his knees, his body starts to change into Doomsday as the large grey beast roars the entire cave hears it and quickly rush to Doomsday as he keeps bashing his head against the wall

Kaldur:Sean..

He slowly approaches Doomsday but before he can say or do anything he gets backhanded by Doomsday sending him crashing into Superboy

He looks back at Kara and Karen as they look in horror at Sean..

"

Karen flies over to him as Sean just looks at her with something she thought she would never see in him..she sees fear..she can feel it coming off of him..mentally and emotionally

She lays both of her hands on the side of his face and closes her eyes

Karen:Shh..it's okay im here..im here now Sean..I won't let anything happen to you..

He softly growls at her..but alas even with her help the pain keeps pushing through him

'(K-karen..you need to leave..all of you..)'

Karen:'(No, Sean im not leaving you here..)'

He looks at her with him mentally pleading her

'(Please..leave..you don't understand something is wrong..Cadmus..they they did something to me..I don't know how long I can control it..leave im begging you..if you love me then you need to do this)'

Karen:'(You know I do love you..)'

Doomsday slowly gets up and looks back at the team and in a gust of wind he just disappears from their sight like he was never there..

Wally:Where did he go?

Karen:I..I don't know..

ara:What did he say?

Karen:Cadmus they did something to him..

Donna:I saw his hands shaking earlier today..he was talking to himself maybe Cadmus put a failsafe in his mind?

Superboy:Then why didn't they put one in me and Karen?

Wally:Well let's see here..we're all talking about the guy who can take on the entire Justice League and win

Karen and Kara glare at Wally not liking the way he said that

Kara:You better watch what your saying about my boyfriend! He's out there right now we need to him before Cadmus takes full control of Sean

Kaldur:She's right everyone to the Bioship I'll alert Batman about this

They all share a mutual nod and rush to the Bioship hoping they can get there in time..for everyone's sake..

-Cadmus-

Doomsday lands in front of the building as he sees the people just look in absolute fear at him..his head starts to ring out like before..the endless pain growing in him as he lets out a roar of anger this causes the people to run away in fear..

A green hand lifts up Doomsday as he looks to see John Stewart and Hal Jordon holding him in place

Hal:Kid I don't know what's happening to you but you need to change back right now

A voice calls out to Doomsday..the same voice from his dreams..the one of Vandal Savage..

Vandal:Kill them..kill the Justice League..kill them all..

Sean tries his best to fight back the command given to him as he starts to squirm violently..but Vandal persists

Vandal:There's no fighting this boy..they can't hear you none of them can..you belong to the Light..now kill them..

John:W--

Doomsday completely shatters the two hands holding him as he looks back at the Green Lantern's his eyes glow red as he blast them away with heat vision sending them flying back

A red and blue blur comes out of nowhere and hits Doomsday back a bit but he steadies himself

Superman:Sean you have to fight it! Don't let Cadmus win!!

"

Superman:Then im sorry about this..I really am..

And then that's when we see it..the entire motherfucking Justice League stand next to Superman as they all get ready..

All while Vandal Savage looks from afar and smirks at this..his voice commanding the now controlled Doomsday

Vandal:Do what you were born to do..destroy them..kill the Justice League

Doomsday roars at the heroes and starts to rush to them as Superman tells himself

Superman:'(Im sorry..)'

Superman and the entire Justice League all rush towards Doomsday as the grey beast jumps into the air with Superman leading the charge there's a sudden *with Superman and Doomsday connecting fists..and so it truly begins..Doomsday vs the entire Justice League..
