An enticing offer

It took a fifteen minutes drive before the Tsukiyomi princess and the archeologist got to his apartment.

"You live here?" She said, looking at the rickety old apartment that looked it was slanting to the rights. The walls of the ground floor were cracked and the metal rails of the stairs were all rusty. Mosses grew below the window panes, and the turfs of bird nests could be seen coming out from the gap between the roof and the ceiling.

It was a two storey apartment, and there were four rooms on every floor; a total of twelve rooms in the building.

"It might not look that great from outside. But on the inside, it's a masterpiece," he assured her.

A sigh fled her lips.

"Now, if you don't mind, my lady, let's head over to my room," he gestured at her to take his hands. She did immediately and they climbed up the stairs which was built by the side of the house.

His room was on the middle floor of the two-storey apartment. The windows made of louvres were tightly shut.
