Life Goes On

Days have passed, Levi and Yuki's daily life goes on with them continuing to practice the Breathing Style taught by Kanae and some notes on the Breathing Style possessed by patients in the Butterfly Mansion.

They only found out Butterfly Mansion acts like a hospital for Demon Slayer corp, they know it after training with Kanae and then someone came to take care of them. From the information Levi got when he asked that person, he was a Kakushi. Kakushi is someone who has been injured and retired from being a Demon Slayer or someone who failed to pass the Final Selection, Kakushi has a duty to provide services to Corps members to clean up the battlefield after Demon attacks.

Putting Kakushi asides, Levi and Yuki progress in learnings Breathing Style was very fast, even Kanae was left speechless as she witnessed how quickly they mastered Breathing Style like Flame Breathing, Water Breathing, Wind Breathing, Stone Breathing, Flower Breathing that used by Kanae and Insect Breathing that used by Shinobu.

It's thanks to Levi's [Super Talents] that they can master few of it with span of few days. Although they cannot master all their form because of lack of information. But it's still enough for them to better grabs of what Breathing Style they want to create.

They also couldn't just create a Breathing Style that suited them easily , because the stronger and powerful the Breathing Style, the strain on their body would also increase. Therefore they wait to create their Breathing Style, and focus on completing Quests that have Super Soldier Serum prizes that make their bodies peak of human.

"Flame Breathing: First Form... " Levi murmuerd under his breath, he then positioned his katana backwards with both hands and charged towards Yuki who was in front of him.

*Swoshh*

"...Unknowing Fire" Levi then unleashes and singular slash toward her neck, his attack produced an illusion similar to flame as he slashed his sword.

Even though his attack looked dangerous and deadly for Yuki because his katana was aimed directly at her neck, Yuki didn't flinch in the slightest, she avoided it by simply ducking and tilting her head.

"You know... it's cool, but the attack would be useless if it didn't hit the target." She commented.

"Haha~ Of course I'm lowering the output of my strike, I don't want to beheading my lovely lover, don't I~" Yes, even if it looked lethal, but in their little spar they wouldn't seriously injure each other.

Yuki just smiled at him and said. "Would you like to test your other Breathing Style then?" Yuki then put her gaze at the sky and noticed that the sun is about to rise, they usually get up very early in the morning because they love the morning air of this world. So instead of being lazy they spend it by practicing the Breathing Style they learned.

"Nah, how about you?" Levi shook his head and asked her back.

"Fufufu~ and here I thought you wouldn't ask~" She said while grabing the katana in her hips. Even though her main weapon was a scythe, but it would be strange and raised an suspicion to take out such a large scythe from out of nowhere, so she was forced to use an ordinary katana just like Levi until they do Final Selection and get their nichirin sword/scythe.

"Water Breathing: Fourth Form: Striking Tide." Yuki then makes multiple consecutive slashes while twisting her body and sword in a flowing fashion similiar to water to deliver multiple blows simultaneously.

"Oh... Fuck." Levi swearing, he then strengthened his grip on his katana and muttered. "Flame Breathing: Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation." he then swings his blade in a circular motion to defend him from the incoming attacks.

*Clang* *clang* *clang*

A sound of metal colliding could be heard as Levi finished his sword style. When the two of them stopped, they then looked at each other and smiled. "You have getting stronger now~" Levi said while caressing Yuki checks.

"But not as strong as you." She said with a pout. She knew that it was not healthy to compare herself with her little brother because he had [Super Talents], but she couldn't help being annoyed, because she had already promised to be his first wife that stand by his side no matter what.

Hearing that Levi chuckled wryly and thought in his mind. 'Hey Vermeil do you have a skill similiar to mine in the shop?'

[There is [Super Talents] skill in the shop but it will be very expensive, for the current you Master~ it will take a long time for you to accumulate enough points to buy it.]

'So what can you recommend for me at this point?'

[Hm... Wait a second, not this, this isn't either... Ahh how about this Master~?] Vermeil said as if she was choosing the right item or skill that Levi wanted.

In front of him then appears a panel that contains a description of an item. The items on the panel are two white necklaces with birds that have one wing on their back.

Reading this description of the [Lovers Necklace] Levi then thought in his mind 'It's perfect~' Although the cost was his skill to be divided, but Levi didn't care cause he himself didn't really need the [Super Talents] skill that made him quickly master everything.

And although managing to get everything as easy as breathing is fun for anyone, but once you achieve everything, loneliness and boredom will be your only companion. Therefore even though his [Super Talents] skill were being divided, Levi saw it as an absolute win.

*Clap* *clap* *clap*

Levi and Yuki were being distracted by clapping sound, they don't need turned their head to look at the person who doing it, because they already know. ""Welcome back, Kanae-san.""

"Hehe~ I'm back!" Kanae said. Usually at night Kanae will have a task to hunt a demon or to guard the nearest town. Thats way Levi and Yuki rarely saw her at night, actually they also wanted to join Kanae to hunt demons.

But instead of them, Kanae brought Kanao with her because she wanted to make Kanao her Tsugoko.
