I leave the medical room and head towards the hall, where the qualified participants were resting after the duel, I quickly find a seat in the corner away from others.

I could see many of the qualified contestants already interacting with each other, hoping to make connections that would benefit them in the future.

I see many faces both familiar and unfamiliar here.

Humans were interacting with themselves

Demons were minding their own business as well, talking a bit with beastfolk or elves.

I saw a human girl near my age, having dark red hair, golden eyes as if a fire as burnt within, a killer body, and wearing a luxurious dress standing proudly in a corner.

She was Harley Walton, from a famous noble family of fire aura masters.

At another corner, I spotted an extremely gorgeous elf.

She had silver shining hair, lush green emerald eyes, a small and straight nose, soft baby pink lips, a voluptuous body any girl would envy, and probably the first woman that I felt kind of attracted to subconsciously as well.

She was surrounded by what I could easily deduce to be her servants, just like me, it seems they also came in as students and qualified for the test….

There were quite some people trying to approach her or talk with her, most of them were sent away by her servants/guards while a few important ones were chatting with her respectfully.

After all, she was the crown princess of the Elven empire and possibly the next queen if all things go well in the future for her.

And last but not the least, of all the important faces I could remember, this demon girl was wearing a red veil to cover her face, a petite body frame, and common-looking clothes.

She was also a heroine in the novel, a future member of Alice's harem if specified.

'Oh man, so many important characters are gathered here…'

The last batch of duels ended soon followed by the qualifying candidates making entries.

I spot Freya and I had to say it, she looks shit.

'OH! Now that I remember, she was paired with one of the main heroines of this whole novel and her arch nemesis, the heroine of light. In the novel, the heroine roughed up Freya pretty badly seeing how cruelly Freya was launching attacks and how vicious she was acting in a small match.

Freya being Freya tried to use all sorts of tricks up her sleeve but ultimately failed to defeat the heroine.

Since then, their grudge begins truly and starts all things as well as the start of Freya's demise.

I tried spotting the heroine and I found her among the crowd as well but her condition, uhh… what…?

She looked as bad as Freya…

A beautiful girl slightly older than me, having silky flowing golden hair, yellow cream eyes, soft plump lips, and an ample amount of curves that could make anyone fall for her… a girl everyone would want to protect.

In the novel, she was barely scratched but she looked equally beaten up as well…

…Damn, did my existence somehow messed up things but how?

I don't remember doing anything that would make Freya stronger… wait, come to think of it, her control over dark aura was significantly higher as well from my observations.

With fear in my eyes, I glance at Freya discretely.
