Mauve watched Mill stiffen as the knock rang out. She could tell Mill didn't appreciate the interruption.
Sabrina looked to Mill and then to Mauve. "Are you expecting anyone?" She asked.
Mauve shook her head, she wasn't. Except Louis no one else would come to her room and she didn't think the meeting was over yet.
"I will check," Mill said and pushed herself off the bed. She dropped the yarn on the bed and walked to the door.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"Mill," Jael said. "Would you open the door?"
It was hard to decide who was more horrified. Mill quickly nodded and turned the handle while Sabrina sat upright, adjusting her hair and dress.
Mauve, however, was unfazed and her thoughts were more on the fact that he knocked than he being on the other side of the door.
She jumped to her feet and rushed to him as he walked in. She watched his face soften a little as it rested on her.
