Mauve couldn't see what they saw and by the hardened look on Jael's face, it wasn't a hoax. Something was happening, something bad enough to have Erick and Louis running.
After a few seconds, there was almost no sign of the both of them. Everything just looked dark. Jael was staring keenly at something but for the life of her, she couldn't even guess what it was.
"What's happening?" She asked him unable to take the suspense anymore.
"I think something happened to one of the guards," he whispered, still looking ahead.
He shuffled on his feet and lengthened his neck to see as far as possible.
"Oh no," she exclaimed. "I hope it's nothing serious."
"I don't know but he is on the back of another guard. Erick has gotten to them. They are still too far for me to see exactly what's going on." Jael's voice sounded distracted as he spoke.
"There's no problem. You don't have to tell me exactly what you see." She hoped it wasn't anything too bad.
